I probably should have asked this before i installed it. I was planning on putting it right next to the factory one in my 2016 AR240 but it was a little to big. I instead installed it at the very back of the engine compartment next to the opening that appears to lead to the lower bilge. Good spot? Seems it would be the first place to see water in the engine compartment.

If you have two pumps in the same area, I think you are good.. The pump GPH may be more of an issue than where you put it. What size pump did you put in?

It is a 750 GPH with built in float. It is simply for when I leave my boat at the marina on the water. I was just making sure I was not blocking anything important, it sits in front of the small pass through to the lower bilge.
