For those of you that installed a 2nd bilge pump - did you use a manual float switch or an automatic float switch. I am trying to decide what to use for my install. I am leaning towards the manual.

I installed a rule 1100 gph.. it does like the fatory one.. comes on to check for water then turns off. I had limited room and didnt want a separate switch. The pumps with the float i foubd were oblong i needed a roundish ine for my spot. Remember if its a large pump you will need a seperate discharge pipe and through hull fitting.
