Option 3 cut a circle in cushion and mount speaker on cushion with 6 screws im sure it will sink into cushion for a clean look just not sure if it will affect the sound of speaker having cushion wrapped around speaker

Option 4 same location as 3 but it would be mounted to boat and I would have an upholstery shop cut a 7in hole to go around speaker . Cushion wouldn't even touch speaker . Cushion would be custom stitched and go all around speaker just like option 3 except speaker would be mounted to fiberglass which is set back thickness of cushion.

I can't do what u did as I have holes behind my cushion .my idea is leave whole cushion and cut a 7in hole and have it stitch professional done right to go around speaker leaving little fiberglass exposed around speaker

I cant tell from.your pic where you have a hole at...if you cut the cushion where I marked it and scoot the speakers out a lil woildnt that work?

I have a 2017 AR240 and am having my cushions trimmed as well...best look and option imho.

Looking at your last pic, can't you position the speaker to occupy the 2 holes farthest to the left? It'll be close but I bet it would work.

I am probably going to do option 2 this weekend.

Option 2

Would HIGHY recommend AGAINST option 2 if you ever plan on Surfing. . . . .as the speaker would be put in the water when properly wieghted to surf.

Do you know what color seadek you have I got storm gray yours look darker
I don’t know off hand. It’s the original marine mat that came factory. The Seadek it slightly lighter and looks nicer IMO
