Do they give a top speed????Wow Bennington is the first to put this beast of an engine on a tritoon. The engine alone weighs over 1,200 lbs!!!

Because the jetoon is getting all the press right now.Okay, I'll go there. why would you ever put 600 hp on a pontoon?

I will say the 600 is a thing of beauty. Also, easy to do some routine maintenance.

For many applications, I would prefer twin 300's over a single 600.

Exactly. Why WOULDNT you? HahaWhy would you only put 600hp on a pontoon? I love the Dodge mentality lol
Considering the "aerodynamics" of a pontoon, 600HP on the back, the obvious inability of some of the boat operators around here to understand the concept of trimming the engine...
Cause they can. Its only a $77,000 motor ?I will say the 600 is a thing of beauty. Also, easy to do some routine maintenance.

Not sure how the Bennington is, but tapered or oval'd toon logs may be used.I saw that, too.
And - of course - where else? it had to be LOTO, lol. That lake is so chock full of large boats, it is not even funny...
I expected it to squat at the stern a lot more, wonder what the deal is. Those motors are insanely heavy, the lower turns like a pod, it could be a good application though.
