:eek::eek: :wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:That is what a fully optioned out Scarab 255 costs on their builder!

And that is at the ‘18 pricing....

I should add that there is a dealer that I believe has a ‘19 255 that stickers at ~120k if I remember correctly... I think it has the new twin 300s!!!

Yup! ^^^^

Im just sitting back waiting for the boating market to implode just like the housing market did. These prices are nuts!

$24.5k in OPTIONS! Twenty four thousand five hundred dollars!! Let that sink in!! Most of the options are standard equipment on cheaper wake boats lol.

B.R.P. is controlled by hedge fund Bain Capital. They tend to do pretty well for themselves.

Unfortunately the boat market won’t implode they will just start financing them for longer.

Scarab pricing is negotiable, no? I wonder what the real world out the door prices look like.

From what I remember, the last time the boat market took a big hit, prices of new boats didn't go down. As I recall, they actually kept right on increasing despite sales going down. Used boats got cheaper and more plentiful, though.

I really like the 255 ID layout, but there is no wa I can get a $95k boat. Just not in the cards until we win the lottery.

I really suspect my next boat will be a used 242X

I just had one priced out a little over 92k with the 300’sbut sale price was 77k to me. My dealer buys them outright so no financing. Which makes a big deal. Compaired to the 242x e series at 79. I was pretty pleased.

Was that out the door?

$77k is still a tough pill to swallow, but much more comparable to the 242X considering Yamaha is notorious at not discounting from MSRP like "traditional" boat sales.

Maybe a used 255 ID is in my future?.....

*edit*.....I'm wrong on my hull numbers here.....I really like the 255 Open ID
Every option except the fishing package, cooler, and pump out porta-potti. Interestingly they don't show the dual 300's on the 255 open ID, just dual 250's......$91,325..Still mighty hard to swallow that price.

This was definitely for the 255 ID.

I know, looking closer the total was 91,300 for the 250's, and 94300 for the 300's, discounted down to 74k, and and 77k. what happened to the fully outfitted 30k boat!, The 300's aren't up on the site yet. I was shown a 3k up charge from the 250's.

prior to tax, but otherwise yes, out the door.

That’s not to bad when comparing to the msrp... Still crazy though!!!

Did the $91,300 and $93,400 include the delivery and prep (pretax/title though)?

It seems the price for the majority of things (vehicle, boat, rvs, etc) has just gotten ridiculous!!!

Our 215 ID that we are ordering isn’t loaded by any means, but still stickered at $70k before the delivery/prep. Just crazy!!!

Comparing to the what did you pay for your Scarab thread, that seems like a killer price for a 2019

The hard part about that thread is unless it is stated, knowing if the tax/title/etc is included in the posted price or not. Since those charges can vary from states to state....

You won't be paying that amount, unless you go to Marine Max. I purchased my 2018 fully loaded with every option for 78K,

The 2019 with the 300 twin hp will run about 78-81k depending on the dealer.
