It is the power of this great forum that like minded folk get together and discuss, help etc others, but I owe a debt of gratitude to @Murf'n'surf , we've had a few conversations but only met once, but with age you kinda get a sixth sense if someones an "all right guy", and Murf is (well, we think so :p), cheers Scott .
I did the deal for my new boat in May, but with a few spanners in the works it fell apart. Trying to re-negotiate from 4500 miles away was testing, to say the least. But eventually it fell back into place, to my advantage, but to the dealers goodwill. The last piece to my puzzle was I needed somebody to visually just check the boat over before payment, this is where Murf came to the rescue. He took time out to help this limey with no hesitation, even though I know he's a busy family guy, I thank you again Scott, I owe you.

Cheers mate! It was my pleasure to help out a fellow boater and get to crawl around on some new boats. I've got the new boat bug.... again. ;)

I bought my boat from 1000 miles away because member @motorboater went and gave it a thorough inspection and test drive. This forum has some great people that are willing to help others.
