I see people do that with Outlook all the time. Extra monitors are nice if you have the space.

Very neat !

That's pretty cool.

Here's my work setup. I don't always have 3 screens on Jetboaters.net, sometimes I actually work. I like to say I can screw things up 3 times faster than the average computer user.

Now that is multi tasking!!!

O.K. - as long as we're showing off:

Middle and left monitors are connected to my primary PC, right-hand monitor is a thin-client running an RDP session on one of my virtual servers. (I believe the middle monitor is 30-some inches.) That's live process data I've got on the monitor on the right. I can watch the process in any of the 3 plants on our site, or the ones in Ohio. 'Course I can use a VPN client on my phone to watch the video cameras when I'm "out and about" now so I guess this isn't real impressive any more.

Not seen in the picture: Laptop #1 in a dock off to the right and Laptop #2 in my take-home backpack.

I don't love my job the way I used to - I'm in management now - but I still love the geeky part!

Way to shame me. Now I have to clean my office. :(

I have 8 total to play on and another 4 to learn. That's me in the background looking intently at something on the DCS.

Powerplant?

A quick look and I thought you all were playing poker!!

@Kelso looks like a refinery to me. My dad has worked for Marathon here in KY for all of my life and that looks vaguely familiar.

My forum viewing location (man cave)... but it it's a little more horizontal. All the better for flight sims...

My DIY floating desk...

The 40" Samsung on the wall serves several purposes... cable tv, xbox 360, and monitor #4 for the PC.

Nice setup in the control room. One of my many hats is to write that kind of software and set up systems like that for Operations.

Is that Wonderware InTouch or something else?

Macallan is nice. Very nice..
