Adding a fuse box behind the Helm 2019 242 S

Greetings!

I am adding a fuse box behind the helm and I was told not to wire the power directly to the battery; instead run to power to the house battery switch.

can anyone on here explain the best way to do this and how to I connect the RED power cable to the house Battery switch?
