Adding Additional Fuel Tank to my Yamaha 190 Fsh

From the title, thought you were installing an auxiliary fuel tank. This is more just extra carry fuel cans...

Not sure I would want to tie those big "tanks" to deck lids/hatches - if it gets really rough you will rip out the hinges.

i was thinking of that but it will be of for calm seas remember the front of the boat is ware you get the most impacts , if hitches break i guess i will have to install new ones
thanks for your comment, navigate safe Cap.

added to the faq under boat mods,

I like the idea, but I am with @swatski on the attachment. What about wrapping another one around the helm seat mounts?

Cool looking mod....I would add a fume alarm/detector in your bilge with all that gas inside compartments of the boat....cheap insurance when carrying that much fuel! (how to is linked in my signature)

Thats a great idea thanks , the fuel in the livewel is ok it drains out but the one in the rear bucket storage has a plug tp avoid getting in the livewel but for the ones in top of the engine is very needed.
Thanks Cap.
