Airfilters

2007 AR210... purchased last year.. low hours. This season just got it all ready, new oil, plugs, lubed everything. Pulled filters and wouldnt you know it.. there is oil on them. So the question is... buy new filters.. or throw these filters in the trash and just run without

Are the filters aftermarket, like K&N, or OEM? Nicer filters are reusable indefinitely and need to be re-oiled every few years. If its the regular papery filter with oil on them replace and ride on - but even riding without when you're bringing in air from a covered engine compartment on water (i.e. virtually no dirt or dust) wouldn't tear anything up for a long while.

Thanks.. Thats what I figured. They are OEM.. just trying to save a few hundrew bucks

Do not run your engines without air filters unless it’s an emergency. Running your engines without air filters to save a few hundred bucks is…. unwise.

I don’t about boats of your vintage but on the newer boats oil saturated air filters are caused by running with too high of an oil level.
