Thanks for that. I actually purchased my boat through Wedowee Marine. Good bunch of people there.

I'm in Illinois..... But welcome aboard anyway!!!!:winkingthumbsup"

We have some friends that we visit on Lake Weiss. Nice lake, not deep but has some good fishing.

Lay Lake where I normally go is pretty shallow, too. Lots of stumps so you have to know where you're going. Even better reason to own a jet boat now!

Welcome aboard!

@skbishop90 Lay Lake sounds like somewhere I need to visit with my wife! LOL. Couldn't resist the gutter humor !

I spent two weeks on Lay Lake as a kid! Weiss has an average depth of 10 feet. I know it is deeper in a lot of places but that is the average.

Welcome Aboard!

Lay Lake probably has an average depth of 30-40ft. Which I consider shallow but 10ft?! Thats crazy, glorified pond.

Welcome aboard.

We rent a lakehouse at Lake Martin Alabama every year...Dadeville area. Max depth 150ft. Average 41. It's an awesome place for watersports. We get there on the 3rd of July this year staying through the 11th.

Some of us Ohio boaters are fortunate enough to boat in a lake called Indian Lake with an average depth of about 5 feet. Deepest part is 8! Not much choice around here.

Welcome aboard @skbishop90 , hang in there, I know there are more bama boaters out there! Congrats on that boat too!

Following. I have family in Alabaster that I plan on visiting again this summer. Would love to get some boating in while there.

I used to boat on Lake Martin as a kid. Its a nice lake from what I remember. Water level changes a lot in the areas I remember.

If they live in Alabaster, Lay Lake is by far the closest lake. Only about 30-40 minutes from my house. Lake Mitchel is on the other side of the dam. We enjoy Lay but i wouldnt mind a variety at times.

I will be moving back to southern Alabama late summer for about six months.

I boat on Lake Jackson in Florala Alabama and Lake Eufala in Abbeville AL. Lake Jackson is just a big pond and lake eufala is a nice lake.
