So I’m new to my Yamaha. I have a 18 242 limited s with connex Today was our second trip on the lake so I only have 4 hours on it. My question is why can’t I turn off the alarm when it sounds? If I get a shallow water alarm I can hit next or quit 100 times and constant blaring alarm no matter what I do. Today as we came back in and were pulling into the skip the low fuel alarm started going off. Once again no matter what I hit it won’t silence the alarm. So here I am am trying to dock my new fancy boat on a very windy day which for me is hard enough then to have an alarm constantly blaring that I can’t turn off. What am I doing wrong? How can I silence the alarm ( besides putting gas in it or getting in deeper water)

You can set the depth a bit more shallow. Not sure how to silence it, but if you set the depth, you have to remember it wont go off until you're really shallow.

Lower left of the screen is a mute icon. Looks like an eyeball. But, alarm will come back on after a few minutes.

Abe, can you set the time on how long the alarm can mute?

No idea yet. I haven’t been back out for driveway boating this week. I took the boat out on Easter, so it has gas now at least. lol.

Still trying to decide if I have the correct mojo to turn Connext off, but play the stereo... for driveway boating and for floating/swimming on the water. My last experiment did not go well, with that alarm beeping every 3 minutes.
