Algue problem

Hi. I got a scarab 255 2 engines
Got a algue probleme. It get stock in my traps and nothing but diving under the boat will gat me started again...
any idea from one of you ???
its been very bad summer so far for me eith that boat stock everytime i go out at nite ??

Algae? First I have heard of it being so thick that you can't start the boat. Normally we hear of growth on the hull causing additional drag on the boat.

Might check out painting your grates with some antifouling paint. Might help you not have algae there, at least. But if you have that much algae growing where you are, I bet your hull is going to be a mess unless you pull the boat and store it on shore when not in use.
