Aluminum trailer kit?

Most aluminum trailers I see are just bolted together, I have a crescent wrench and a pair of channel locks so I'm pretty sure I could put one together.

I've done a little searching but thought I'd ask.
Has anyone ever seen a kit that you can order, and build yourself?
Ideally I'd like to pick my own parts like brakes and such. I know I can go to a trailer dealer and have one built the way I want it but I'd like to put it together myself and maybe save a couple $$.

I keep hoping I will run across a trailer on Craigslist for sale that I can just change parts on or whatever but they don't come up for sale very often!

I wonder if the place that built me my new trailer would sell you the side beams and axles. The rest of it you could piece together buying online. Might be worth a call, they aren't far from you. http://www.aluminumboattrailer.com/

I know a local guy that has a trailer from them that you could look at as a template. He'll even let you borrow some tools so you don't have to use a crescent wrench and channel locks!
