Ok....so I was buffing out the boat at the end of the season:( and I came across this x shaped crack on the hull (see pic)....it doesn’t seem soft behind the crack but I’m not sure if this is something I should be concerned about and what I need to do to get it fixed....thanks!

I would fix that or get it fixed. No question.

Do you remember hitting something? Like a floating piece of log?

Honestly I don't remember hitting anything of note....I'm not quite sure where it came from...I kinda thought that these hulls were pretty indestructible unless you really smacked into something hard..I have not hit anything with it as far as I know.

Just a spider crack. Does not look like impact to me.

I was thinking spider crack which usually is the result of something hitting it from the inside. In that location the likely culprit is a loose anchor...

Yeah agree with the rest, spider crack. Because it isn't a typical place you would see a spider crack from stress, impact of some type would be the likely cause - and because you don't see evidence of impact on the outside (scratches, chips, etc) the likely cause is impact or pressure produced from the inside. Personally I'd fix it but it doesn't look like anything structural or much to get too concerned about.

Your boat is going to sink.

Crap! That loose anchor thing makes a bunch of sense....I'm sure it's something stupid like that...I never even thought about that being an issue...how would you secure the anchor to keep that from happening? Additionally to "the MfM" hilarious but also not funny!
