Any gardeners out there, please show me yours!

My wife spends a lot of time and money on her gardens. She will never tell me exactly how much every year but it is a crazy stupid amount. I dont care much because she never gets upset with my toy habit spending.
She has a talent for Gardening and baking( in the winter)Resized_20210522_122454.jpegResized_20210516_124914.jpeg20210530_183008_222092318507413.jpgResized_20210530_142219.jpegResized_20210530_142305.jpeg20210530_183050_222567239756086.jpgResized_20210530_183021.jpegResized_20210610_132701.jpegResized_20210610_132716.jpegResized_20210606_111454.jpegResized_20210530_142250.jpeg

So I am re-doing my front area. The soil is shit. I put in some pavers and want to raise it up a little with some good soil. I need above 1 yard of soil, what type should I use? Is basic top soil fine or should I spend more and do gardening soil? Filling it in with a few plants/flowers.

I’d buy bags for 1 yard (14-15 2ft bags) unless someone around you will deliver topsoil cheaply. I think the delivery fee would be an issue at that amount.

Someone come do my yard. I’ll install a stereo system in return lol.

I'll offer that deal too, only I want someone that can get some grass to go in my backyard.

what type of bags? Just regular ole cheap top soil?

Great job! Love the pond with bridge!!! I have half an acre that I would love to make japanese style garden with Koi pond but I have no time, I have so many hobbies that keeps me busy, maybe one day I'll hire a pro to do my yard or wait til I retire one day lol.

Home Depot sells compost manure by the bag for around $2.00 a bag. I would get 30-40 bags of that, it’s nutrient rich, doesn’t smell and stuff grows very well in it.

Our soil is shit here too. I have had top soil delivered and it is shit too for good gardens. I used it for fill and leveling areas for grass. Over the past to years i have had over 100 tons of dirt delivered $380 for 20 tons of topsoil. And its just fair as i am concerned. The cheap clean fill that is $180 for 20 tons grows grass just as good. Next year i need 40 more tons, i am going with the cheap dirt...

My wife uses Miracle-Gro top soil, potting soil, and raised bed soil
