Hi John, not sure if you are still here or still have the boat. I just registered on here today. I own a 2003 20' Alumaweld Intruder with 175 Sportjet. I am also here in PDX.

I am looking for info on my 175SJ, after I run it and then go back to idle, it stops idling and motor stops running, I can give it throttle when it is about to stop and picks back up right away. Anyways that is why I'm here on this forum, seems like a great forum. What were you looking for and the answer to it since it's been some time?

I took mine to Vics Marine near Redding Ca, I was experiencing the same issue, among other things… the carburetors needed to be rebuilt… FWIW.. Ron
