Anybody heard these towers?

So I was looking on wake masters, and ran across these from kicker. Anybody seen or heard them?

Kicker is a good name brand. They’ve been around for years. I’ve not used their marine line yet but have extensively used their automotive stuff. Did my Tundra up with all Kicker. Like many audio manufacturers, they offer different levels of products.

Yeah for sure. I've used kicker many many times before in the past in car audio. Always loved them. I like to stay 100% with one maker in my setups. So I was going wetsounds with my new boat setup. Then I ran across these towers from kicker. Building the full system is not much cheaper then wetsounds, but there are at least 4 boats I know of in my area with wetsounds Rev 10s. So I liked these to change it up.

So this is what I priced from Crutchfield:
4-6.5s
2-8s
Powered by one KMA450 amp (about 100 watts each channel)



Then 2-10" tube sealed subs
2- 500 watt rms amps to push them


Lastly the towers
2-11" tower speakers
1-400 watt amp (bridged on both channels for 600)


Putting it at this total



Not bad at all for everything, and that's alot of power. Should sound great, but is it worth going away from wetsounds?

Why dont you change the subs to the 4 ohm version and go with one 1200.2 and one 1200.1 instead of one 1200.2 and 2 42pxas? The 1200.2 can push 300 watts to each tower speaker and the 1200.1 can push 600w to each subwoofer in parallel. More power and would save you about 300 dollars.

That's an interesting idea for sure. I'm not 100% positive I want to go this Kicker route. I have a full wetsounds system picked out as well. This Kicker setup is $1000 cheaper though, but is the quality up to par with the Wetsounds is the real question

I do wanna thank all you guys for investing in the stereo systems because when we go to sand bar we just find somebody who has some kind of music that we like and pull about 200 to 400 ft away and the volume is perfect. The rest of the time the stock stereo that came on FSH 21 is fine. And this way when we are hanging out we don’t drain our battery. ?? The Woman in the thongs on your boats are great to look at also!
