Anyone have the JL Audio Slam Pack?

We bought our 2018 AR 240 from Cycle Springs this summer and it came with the JL Audio Slam Pack. It cranks!! Anyone on here have this system?

I had the dealer install both the slampak and tower slampak on my '16 AR240 at the time of purchase. I have loved it! Last spring I upgraded it and purchased another pair of speakers for the interior and 2 more tower speakers and a M400 4 channel amp.

Previously the 6 channel amp ran the 4 interior speakers and the 2 tower speakers. The 2 channel was bridged and dedicated to the sub with separate volume knob.

Now the 6 channel runs the 4 interior + 2 added by the driver and passenger. The sub stayed the same. The new 4 channel amp runs the now 4 tower speakers with separate volume control. It was awesome before, but much improved now.

Very nice setup. Was thinking of doing something similar with tower and mid-cabin.

The Slampaks are a great way to get there and expand. It's hard to go wrong with JL

The slam pack is like a free hit of drugs from a dealer. They get you hooked next thing you know you have maxed out credit cards and new holes all over your boat to get even more speakers put in...or maybe thats just me

SO, did you use an RCA Y adapter to split the signal from the head unit?

“We normally use the JL Slam Paks from Yamaha. These include two speakers and an amp. The cost on this is $1338.95 and the cost of install is $725.00.”

Does that sound about right to you guys?

Is that the interior slampak or tower? I did both and got labor free as a boat show deal.

I had a local stereo shop (in NC) do mine on the 242. 6 speakers + 2 subs + 1000w amp (all JL) - $2300 installed for all including wiring and labor.
