Great question! Boat test has the AR at 16.25 and the 242 at 17.25 as well. The only thing I can add of any help here is that the 242 is 100lbs heavier....but not sure that would accout for an inch of added depth????
My guess is that 17.25" is the correct draft for all 24' 2015s and the 16" spec has not been updated from 2014.
Regardless you would not want to run in less than 24" of water and only at idle. I try not go shallower than 36" above idle. The jets are giant vacuums.
Yeah I would think that the 16.25 measurement is a typo. I would be willing to bet that the 24 footers all have the same draft since they are the same hull with the same Articulating Keel system. Weight difference is marginal.
