Question for someone who has one of these boats: have you had any problem with having to duck down to walk under the tower when moving toward the stern or is there plenty of headroom? I'm 6 feet tall which isn't that much and wondering if the tower could turn into a headache rack. Would check one at the dealer but, of course, they have none and I don't see the distance from the deck to the underside of the tower in the specifications. Thanks.

I am 5'10" and no problems on my 2019. There at least another 5-6 inches of headroom. If you wanted to add tower speakers, that's a different story. Its possible just need to be careful.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like it would be no problem.

Tower should be no issue. The bimini top, that is a different story. When open I have hit my head several times getting into the boat from the back and I'm 5'8".

At 6'1 I only smack my head on the 8 inch tower speakers on the tower occasionally.

6'2" tall without shoes here. 2017 AR190

If I let my hair grow a little long it will brush the underside of the tower.
I will smack my forehead on the front of the bimini walking towards the rear from the bow from time to time...Usually when I have a visor/hat on and don't see it.....or if I've been drinking
I put a hand on the bimini when stepping into the cockpit from the rear platform. It's not bad, rarely hit or touch my head there. Even on "frantic" movements.

Then I put a soundbar up. I love it. Sounds great, looks cool. Lots of compliments. 3rd season with it, and I've hit my head 12 times. HARD. And there are some less than soft corners to hit. I keep track of the number because it hurts that bad. You can see the soundbar drops the clearance by a few inches (5 or so). Wife is 5'10" and never hits her head on it.

Mine is a 2018 AR195, and here are my measurements from center of the beam:
  • Vertically from carpet to bottom of forward tube: 73.75" clearance
  • Vertically from carpet to bottom of rear tube: 74" clearance
  • Vertically from carpet to lowest point of rolled-up bimini (stored position): 70.5"
Hope that helps.

That tells me I have some god awful posture :( :(

LOL. I never really thought about the bimini clearance until I measured it. I'm 6' even and never brush my hair or hat against it, so I must naturally tilt my head a bit. At least it's soft if I forget.

Thanks all for the answers. Sounds like stock, no issues but watch out for the bimini top or any installed accessories. ?
