I need to go pick up my boat. It's only the next state over, but being that we are talking about New Mexico and Texas, that is over 800 miles. At a minimum I need to get a spare tire, and I may just go ahead and buy new mounted radial tires for peace of mind. However, I need to know the size.

Best I can tell it uses ST215/75D14-C tires on a 5 in 4.5 pattern wheel, but I'd love if someone could confirm that for me.

Thanks!

EDIT: Yup, correct size. For reference, I bought a pair of Goodyear Endurance mounted on galvanized rims for $385.76 from "ecustomhitch" through ebay.

Do you have the ebay link, I need one and I cant find it in ebay

Here you go

We ended up trailering 2 hours on the old tires before we swapped out. *Very* noticeable difference with the new tires. The trailer was smooth and planted, vs bouncy and moving around behind the truck.

Note: I have one of the old tires mounted up as a spare, which means I have an extra old tire on an OEM galv rim up for grabs if someone needs a spare. I think I could just slap a UPS label right on it. Free to a good home, you pay shipping.

Thanks and yes Im familiar with Good year endurance, I have it in my RV. I dont trust the tire that comes in my boat so im replacing both and keep the 2 orig one as spare

I just checked my rim measurement, the 4.5 x 5 lugs measures up but the rim diameter is 15" when I measure across. the one you purchased is 14" rim diameter did you notice any difference when you mount it?

My originals were also 14's. There wouldn't be room for 15's under the fenders.

The listing doesn't seem to give a bolt spacing spec, but 99% chance it's correct.
Cool. I need a spare and will probably pick this up. The price doesn't seem too high.

Alternatively, I do still have that extra spare in my shed that you are welcome to.
Sorry for the late reply. I saw your offer after I'd order the spare from HD.

Matter of fact I do. Been stored inside. I can take it down to the UPS store and get a ship quote if you want (or come to Santa Fe - the apricot blossoms are out and it's warming up!)

That spare still up for grabs?

As much as I'd love an excuse to come visit Santa Fe, I think I'm gonna have to go with the shipping option. I'll DM you the address.
