It's happened twice now only when heading back to dock when raining the one engine stalls. Then I start it back up and when engaging the throttle it stalls again. starts back up then stalls again. then won't start for a while. Other engine running fine gets us back to the dock. next day both engine's start up and run fine. Any suggestions?

Several:
1) Change the spark plugs (a generic cure-all for many issues on our boats)
2) Check the fuel. Add Sea Foam or Stabil 360. If you have room, fill up with some fresh gas. In severe cases, drain the tank... If you can get it running doing one of those things, run it like mad, add more fresh fuel. I always add 360 to prevent issues.
3) When running on one engine, make sure you are at no-wake speeds, unless you have shutoff valves installed or clamp the cooling line. If you ran back above that speed and without blocking the line, do not fire up that engine. Pull the plugs and try to start it to ensure you don't have water in the engine. Failure to do so may hydrolock your engine--very bad. If water does shoot out of the plug holes, keep doing that until no more comes out. Then reinstall plugs and see if you can start it. Then run it like mad to get it hot to evaporate any remaining water. This must be done promptly to avoid engine damage.

Let us know where that gets you. If it still does not solve the issue, check back. Many experts here with more steps to try...
