I just installed the 8000 lumens light and switch. Very easy install. I hope the light is mounted deep enough. Not really any place better to mount it.

I would have rather had a drain plug light but that won’t work with new Yamahas.

If that spot is not bright enough and you have no issues with the light you could add a couple more. Just a thought. Good luck!

My last light was 27 lumens and I thought it was bright. At least for the $15 I paid for it

Wow, I'm impressed too! You must be in some clear water. I boat mainly in Tampa Bay and it's pretty bad. I have 16,000 lumens and I don't get that. Your gonna love the new light. Please post some pics of the light when you can.

Gonna be a long time before I get to use it. I barely ever boat at night. But when I do I’ll definitely post it
