Hey boaters! Wanted to introduce myself!

After a lengthy search since last summer (2020), missed opportunities, being outbid, and sky high resale values, we took the plunge into a new Yam!
Purchased in early Feb, picked up mid March, and had its maiden voyage late March!

Had her out twice, added thrust vectors, stripped decals and stickers, swapped bow roller, put a coat of rejex, broke in, and enjoyed all 4 hrs and 30-something gallons of fuel we've burnt up so far!
Definitely happy buying the second boat first!

She lives at norris lake Tennessee, and will see 75-100hrs this summer!

Looking forward to seeing some of you, and plenty of other beautiful boats out there this summer

Very nice, we are at sugar hollow, so really close to Deerfield. We have been at norris for only one full season and haven't ventured down to the southern portion of the lake often, but its very quiet and more local down there. The Deerfield area (northern end) is full of ohio and ky weekenders like ourselves.

It can get busy in the weekend afternoons, so sometimes the best thing to do is find a cove, or a marina for a couple hours and enjoy the lake that way. Weekday and evening cruises along the shoreline drooling over the backdrop of mountains and beautiful homes is something you have to see to experience.

All of the marinas in the north end if the lake are fun in thier own way, they each have a niche. Deerfield has the tiki bar. sugar hollow has the pirate ship, live music, and is close to the jumping bridge. Shanghai is known for the swag shop, and good food. Stardust for shrimp. We stop at the dam marina to get kids ice cream, lol. I've been to a dozen marinas or so and have not had a bad experience at any of them. There are a few rock jumps around Whitman hollow, and flat hollow. There are some islands down near loyston point campground and waterside marina. A perfect day trip to ride 1-1.5 hrs tie off at the island, let kids run around all day in a "lord of the flies " type scenario and have another beautiful cruise back.
These are just some of our favorites. Plenty to be seen and im sure norris will call you back once you leave, have a blast! Somethin' bout them mountains.

Yup, we live in Ohio, but our happy place is in Tennessee. Bought the boat in ky and took it straight to Tennessee, lol.

First, great looking boat! The photo of her tied off to the dock, by chance was that taken at the Waterside Marina (one of our many places we swing by from time to time)? Norris is where we've been going to since 1997, and is "the" lake to hang out on

Congrats! and great boat! We got ours from Cincy late last summer, and enjoyed the heck out of it for the remaining months! You'll love it. We want to take ours down to Norris some time this summer, too.

Totally recommend. I've been on Cumberland for the past 15 years and never wanted a boat until I've been on norris!

Oh yes it's waterside. Can't wait for tacos at the new restaurant! Monterey?. We made sure to hit up waterside early for the retro colors swag. Also, from sugar hollow, it was a great distance for a break in period! Took her easy on the way there, and ripped her to 46 on the way back!

Our starting point has always been the Dam. We rent one of the cabins from the TVA so we know our money goes back into the park. Bubba's Brew, up near the 93 bridge is also a great place for food, beverages and live music
