In the sense that they can acquire a boat from another dealership if your local dealership doesn't have what you want, but another dealership does? I know auto dealerships do this quite regularly, but I have never boat a boat from a dealership, so I am unsure how they work.

Thanks

Are boat dealers like car dealers?
Yes, they both wear loud plad suits and lie through their teeth.

Lol.

The dealer in Vermont where I got my boat didn’t have the model I wanted so he got it from another dealer in Connecticut.

My dealer didn't have what I wanted so they found another dealer in the next state over that did have it. A few days go by and they drove over to pick up my boat from the other dealer. No charge from them for that service.

Did you buy thru Marine Collection in So. Burlington? If so, how were they? Glad the dealership found you a boat. I took this pic. of their inventory in April. Counted 10 new boats, mainly 24'ers.

I don't remember any plaid suits!

Thanks for the info.....:)

That's being a little rough on car dealers. Even the theee used car dealers i've had the pleasure of working with were more honest than the "salesman" at my yamaha stealership.

If only Lexus made boats!

Crazy that the boat dealer hate is so strong, and ya'll still bought one.

I don’t think it’s hate. More like poking fun.

Where else would I purchase a new boat?
