I'm brand new to the 242 Limited S and have only had it out twice. How do I listen to stereo without the constant beeping when I turn the keys in the on position?

I edited the title to make the request more clear. I have seen posts about this. Is it just a matter of holding down the connext power button?

Hi @Flower, Push any of the buttons that run along the bottom edge of the Connext screen. If you get an alarm (i.e. depth) that is beeping, just mute it from the home screen. Then push the music button to listen to the radio. I have to admit that Connext hasn't been overly intuitive for me, but I'm getting used to it. I still find tuning the radio (as well as the poor FM reception) to be a hassle, so I usually just listen to Pandora through Bluetooth on my cell phone.
Good luck.

Thanks . Where is the mute button?

I'm not with my boat right now so I'm going from memory, but when you hit the home button to bring up the home screen, if there's an alarm sounding, there will be a mute icon in the middle of the screen that you can push to silence the alarm. If you want to mute the radio, push the music button and you'll see the mute button in the lower right of center part of the screen, just to the right of the volume slidebar.

Just to be clear, there isn't a mute button; it's an icon that you push on the touch screen.

Can you run the connext/radio without the keys in? When I anchor I am used to pulling my keys but couldn't find a way to get it on without the keys in.

Push the light bulb button on the bottom of the Connext screen for three seconds. You don't need to have the keys in.
