My squid buddies and I were debating the proper amount of days before the towel needs a wash.

Depends on how you hang it and if your bathroom have good air circulation, usually does mine in a week. The pool towel that hangs outside last me couple of weeks. I guess chlorine and FL heat, keeps it sanitized lol.

I need a "happens magically" option as my wife (thankfully) does all the laundry.
Mine also eventually happens magically, but too infrequently.

I definitely thought this poll was resolving a marital dispute.

I also have a Magically Happens scenario going on.

I'm usually about a week....my wife two new towels a day....thankfully she's the one that does the laundry.

The squids were giving their responses and one dude said he and his wife "share a towel". We all about died because that just seems wrong on so many levels.

I have the magic laundry basket and the magic coffee table too!

ROTFL at this one. I remember my friends and I had this debate in high school when we had swimming in gym. Most of us used a towel for some multiple day period, but one guy was like ONE USE ONLY. He was paranoid that the part of the towel that dried his junk on a previous day would be drying his face a subsequent day! I told him he’d be so lucky. :p But, shouldn’t it all be clean AFTER the shower. But now I always look for the corner of the towel with the tag and that’s the part I use to dry my privates!

Wait, aren’t you technically washing the towel ever time you use it?? :D

Asking the real questions here.

Also, can soap ever be dirty or is it inherently self cleaning?!?

Also x2......We wash on Sunday mornings. All towels (Dish, Bath, Hand, Dust, etc) in the house go in the wash Sunday morning.

When my wife tells me I smell like a wet dog is when it gets changed out. Seems I am in the dog house more times than not if its a standard smell in our house LMAO ?
