Are you on the water, now? Do not run engine until lights go off! Which lights are they. On my boat, left is 'Check Engine,' Middle is 'Overheat,' right is 'Oil Pressure.'

Do you have a fully charged battery?

Are you out on the water?

It sounds like an electrical problem. Is there anyway that you can make sure the battery is fully charged? It could still need to be charged even though the motors started easily. Check, also the electrical ground connection.
