I need some technical help. My ballast pump does not work. I am in PA and it's 45 degrees here. Been doing a lot of work, nothing that should've affected this system.
Here is what I know
1. The pump motor works when wired straight to the battery (13.1vdc)
2. The pump motor does not work when connected to the factory plug, the switch just flashes.
3.The plug out from the factory output is only 11.1vdc. Why is this?
4. When the motor is unhooked from the controller, the rocker switch lights solid like it should.

Did you unhook an terminals from the battery? Maybe you missed one by accident?

I didnt unhook anything. I'm actually getting 11.1v out of the controller to the motor. The battery has 13.1v. I'm wondering if that is the issue. I cant figure out where its fed.

Just a heads up,I figured this out. One of the 2 main fuses was blown near the battery switch. The fuse was blown, but the waterproof case that the fuse sits in was full of water, giving me false voltage readings.

That explains the voltage issues...but how did the case get water in it?

The fuse holders are mounted upside down in my boat. The 20A blade fuse pulls up and out from the holder. I think the holder should be more of a hood cover and not a cup that the fuse sit down into.I'm going to flip them today so the holders dont accumulate water. The holder was full of water. I'll post a pic today
