Hello everyone!

I recently bought a 2019 212x and can’t get the ski locker ballast pump to run. I am able to re calibrate both the starboard and port side pumps, but the center pump does not respond to it (pulse rate continuously displays 28000 - 29000 [when it should be at 0]). I have already ruled out the ballast fuse and the pump itself (both are fine). I just can’t get the pump to respond to any of the commands. Has anyone that has ran into this issue please provide me with some guidance?!

Thank you!

Does your pump itself working? Doest it respond If you put 12v to - and to + contact of the pump?

Yes, it worked if 12v is applied directly. I troubleshooted a few more times today, and after like 5 times of turning the battery on and off, the pump started to respond to the calibration process. It appears to be responding to commands now. I still don’t understand why it was doing that.

I had the same situation. I think contacts on the BCU pumps unit could be not good. I toched them several times and mine started working as well.

Same issue in my 2020 242X. Port/starboard work fine. But can’t fill the center ballast. How are you calibrating it? I’m trying to fill and getting nothing.

I'm having the same issues with my ski locker ballast. I purchased the jumper cable from Camdo last year and it worked great. This year I get absolutely nothing with directly connecting to battery no sound nothing. Wondering if the pump went out or maybe the impeller is locked up?

I would start by pulling the impeller then power it up. They sometimes fail if the magnets break free from the housing internally but the pump jumper is a great tool to have on board. Good to hear that the cable has helped out
