We spent the week at Banks Lake in Central Washington State. My wife, our four daughters (aged 14 to 21) and two other teenage girls - your math is correct that is 7 to 1. Due to that ratio I woke at 6:30 every morning and went out fishing - challenging to stay on target at trolling speed of 1 to 1.5 mph and land fish at the same time. I will be picking up some larger fins (Thrust Vectors) from @JetBoatPilot to help.

We did have a lot of smoke from the forest fires mentioned by @jfkraus in the Pacific Northwest thread. But we aslo had a lot of fun. Surfing, skiing, tubing - got some great wipeouts although the video quality is not great, filmed by a teenage girl on her phone.

Caught a ton of fish including the 24" walleye in the photo below. Caught dozens in the 14 - 16 inch range - maybe @MikeyL should come here for his next walleye trip!

Banks looks really nice! We tried hitting Chelan a couple weeks back but the smoke was too thick. Been wanting to hit Banks since we bought the boat.

@dexx00420 It is worth a day trip if you can do it. If you are looking to camp at Steamboat Rock State Park you need to get your reservations in 9 months in advance. We booked in November of last year for August of this year.

We booked 9 months ahead as well. And right when reservations opened. It's worth it though!
