Beautiful lake.. haven’t been there in decades.. great pics...steamboat rock campgrounds?

A couple nights a steamboat and a couple nights on an available beach we found. Great fun!

My favorite lake. Spend a week there every summer, we stY at Steamboat. Also go for a long weekend boat camping on one of the beaches.

For all you guys south and east of us, you'll notice how busy the lake was!

I wont lie that's my kind of lake! @Andy S maybe we need add this spot to the list of US lakes to check out it is a long tow though.

I'm game. The only place I have seen in Washington state is the Seattle airport, I need to see more of the state.

Yes they do, they updated it a couple of years ago.

That place looks amazing! We need to head that way this summer! Is Steamboat the best place to stay?

Steamboat is a State Park, there are a couple of commercial campgrounds up lake from Steamboat. The commercial places pack you in real tight and there can be a bit of partying going on. Steamboat has nice spread out sites and is on the best part of the lake.

It is the best in my opinion.

Right on....thank you for the info....we usually try to make it to Chelan once a season (3 hour drive one way) but we may do Banks instead. Thanks again for the info.
