I was wondering if anyone on here boats in barren river? If so do you like it and is there anything nice to see or places to go? Also the best launch ramps around?
I’ve been on Barren River Lake a few times. You can put your boat in at the State Park or the in at the Corp of Engineer’s ramp a little ways up from the State Park, but you will have to buy a pass. It’s a nice lake to spend a day on, but bring your own food as there are no restaurants in any of the Marinas. There is a bbq stand at one of the marinas that is there on Saturdays. I would suggest you go to Dale Hollow lake.
