I open up my boat and get everythin ready for the first fire up this year and am reminded of what a mess the stock setup is as far as wiring to the batteries and battery switch.
I would really like to clean it all up with all the same terminals, a power distribution block and a grounding block. Different fuses set up for various things (like 2 amps) and tie the grounds all together so it only needs to ground to one battery and then link both negatives from the batteries.
I also don't want to eat up any more storage because with a sub and 2 battery boxes i am about out of room! Add into that compartment my bimini fabric when not in use and my tools/ohsnap box i really don't have room!
Also adding to this i would love love love to wire in for a battery tender or something in order to make winter easier.
I remeber seeing someone making a board that slides to the back or something with the batteries.
It all needs to be bimini trip safe and secure as well!
