On the boat now and my tube pump isnt getting power. It is new but I tested it at home by connecting it to my truck battery.

I tried the cables connected to the house and starter battery with no luck. Am I missing something? The cables don’t spark at all when I wiggle them around. Tried turning both keys on and still nothing.

Thanks!

Is there an inline fuse for the pump? Have you tried going direct to the boat battery?

Inline fuse, air pump switch turned on, clamps hooked to a positive and negative post on the battery....
Keys shouldn’t matter if you are connecting straight to the battery.

Thanks guys. No inline fuse and I was connected directly to the boat battery. I’m going to check on my truck battery again when I get home. Was weird because I couldn’t get any type of spark at all from the + and - terminals.

bad wire someplace or bad switch
