I think it is about that time. My factory batteries (Interstate 24M-XHD) are ~6 years old, and I noticed the starboard motor was a little weak to start and also got a "Starboard Low Voltage" warning yesterday. Additionally, it does not seem to fully charge. I had in on the smart charger all night and performance was the same this morning. I will get it checked out this week, but I assume it is due for replacement.

Should I replace both batteries due to age or would it be fine to replace just the bad one? I am leaning towards putting in the same Interstate battery unless someone has an argument otherwise.

I would replace both batteries. The new battery is only as good as the old battery.

Plus, the old battery was under exactly the same conditions as the one replaced. That means it will likely be milliseconds before it dies... Bite the bullet and get them both.
