I lost one of my Bearing Buddy dust cover. I guessed it popped while driving with the boat few miles. West Marine 3 options ended up being too small or too big. I ended up taking a plastic sheet folded on 6, Gorilla taped it to the hub, and clamped it with radiator clamp. It did the work for this weekend but for the life of me, I can't find a replacement on line.

I measured the Bearing Buddy that came with the boat trailer to be 2.125" in diameter. Does anyone had this before?
Can you help point out to the right cover online? I am going to clamp them all now. Can't have this happening again.

Thanks!

I think you can get those at Menards or Walmart! Not expensive.

Bad sign, jack up the trailer and inspect the bearings this is the first thing that happens when a bearing is about to fail. maybe you will be lucky but I hate seeing one missing because it is usually a warning sign

Did you lose one on a rear wheel? I lost a bra a while back due to a stuck caliper heating up the hub and throwing the grease out and the indicator pushed the bra off. This was my temp. fix until I replaced the caliper and the bearing buddy. So yes, there is an unseen reason for losing a bra.
