ideas anyone??

I went with the rockford fosgate m282-wake and have been very happy with them.

Wha t are you trying to achieve? I have 2 Polk db691 from h2o sports warehouse in enclosures and I like them. They throw music to the beach and to the surfer.

Just want to throw music to the surfer. Added a Rockford fosgate amp over the summer @jawsf16

In that case I think just about anything will work for you as long as amped. Samson makes some nice surf speakers but they are pricey. I have been very happy with my Polks. The rear swept towers help the sound project above and out of the boat. The boat noise is not an issue. I highly recommend using an EQ or connect your speakers so you can fade between boat and tower.

I'm so sorry !!! Us Midwesterners are a bad influence !!!!

It's your fault @sx210owner . I will be forwarding the bill to you

I have a pair of Fusion speakers from H2o Sports Warehouse. They sound awesome and project quality sound to the surfer - and can blast out the cove if I choose. That said - I will be changing over to the Rockford Fosgate 282's. I love the way they can swivel on the mount.

Thanks all for your input!

Just installed some Roswell Unison 6.5 classics a few weeks ago and I am very pleased. Aluminum cans, stout mounting brackets and quality sound. You can get them through Overton's with 20% off it gets them to $400 for the pair. I went with them because they made the tower for my SP which allowed me to use the factory mounts. They sound great for 6.5s driven by a JL Audio 2 x 75 RMS amp.

I have a set of Rockford Fosgate 282B Wake tower speakers for sale.. PM me if interested.

I have the RF 282b speakers and they're good. I think I need more amp for them. They are loud and project well. They also included the swivel mounts and quick disconnects.

@subysti I have a nice amp that will power them properly that I am looking to sell. :-)

7.7 Krypt HCLDs!!!! Decent money and VERY loud!! As you know. :p

What's funny is we went out and visited @bobbie and Morgan and I don't think we turned on the stereo once. They come to Shelbyville and we crank the stereo when surfing, and now they are adding tower speakers.

I'm over the loud music. I rarely use the tower speakers anymore ever since my kids got me these:

Music Muffs EARMUFF-IP-ASST-POLKA Earmuffs with Built In Speakers like Headphones

I laughed when I opened it and read the description...they thought these were made for Polka music! :winkingthumbsup"

we got a pair of Cheap MCM's --> 6.5" tower speakers

We already had an amp, and only use it when we are pulling Wakeboarders or swimming off the back. they work fine. Nothing to write home about, but plenty loud and Ok sound.
