Posted this elsewhere but did not get any traction. Have had no issues with the bilge not working in fact it has Always worked. Normally we leave the wet slip in the bilge is turned on and we have a charger connected to the battery that runs the bilge. But last night we noticed the light on the control no longer lights up. Is this an issue? I don’t think the bilge doesn’t work I think it might just be a burnt out bulb has anybody else experienced this? Being that it is in a wet slip I am kind of concerned

Yes had lights on my switches go out when we had the Yamaha but the blower or bilge still worked (can't remember which). The switches are cheap and you can test the bilge pump by opening the engine hatch and turning it on. You should hear it make some noise. If that is the case just buy a new switch if it concerns you,

My bilge switch light has been burnt out for years, bilge pump works fine.

When the light worked, I was more worried that some idiot would see it on and go turn off the switch completely disabling the bilge pump.

They have changed how the switch is wired in newer Yamahas.
