Bilge pump not working - 2011 242LS

Looks like the bilge pump failed on my 2011 242 Limited S - the circuit breaker will trip within 5 seconds of resetting and then switching the pump on at the helm.
I'll check for debris in the pump, corrosion at the terminals, see if the impeller spins freely.
Any other obvious items I should be checking?
Boat still has the stock bilge pump.

These things fail pretty frequently if its still stock it is just likely time to replace it.

You should be able to replace the pump easily... Using the same mount bracket. While you're in there why not add a second backup on a float switch. Bilge power like engine power...there is never enough!
