There's a new series on Discovery (and streaming on Discovery+) called Shark Academy. Watched the first episode last night. It runs for 6 weeks and it's about a phd shark scientist who holds a competition to select his research assistant. It was pretty good but I could do with a little less of the "reality tv drama" that these types of shows seem to promote. The interesting part is that they are filming in Bimini and will be shooting all over the islands. I think I saw the Sapona in one of preview trailers. Might be a good watch for those who have made the trip and those of us who plan to (we've had to postpone twice now but next summer is a definite priority).

Admin: Not sure this is the proper place to post this, feel free to move if needed

Saw in Mark Robers latest video (which is about sharks and his work on shark week this year) they were departing from what looked like Bimini Sands resort......Or whatever the place is that the jetboat group goes to that I've seen in pictures 1000 times and want to go to. :D :D

Here's the clip.....13:18 shows the place
