I don't know any easy answer other than oem at yamahasportsplaza, I would hate to pay that though for what ought to be an easy aftermarket find, did you measure the width and they were wrong or did you just think it was going to fit? do want measurements from an original from someone with an 05/06 AR ?

If you would like to try and salvage the bimini you have you could cut it, it's simple to do. I cut down my OEM bimini after a couple of years because I thought it rode too high. A simple tube cutter makes very clean cuts in just a couple of minutes. Hardware is readily available at most boat supply houses.
If it's too wide you can cut it in the middle and rejoin with a tube the next size down inserted inside, epoxy and pop rivet back together. Cut the ends off the legs and re-insert the hardware.

mine was too wide at top to clear tower it was around 85" and 36" tall from mount when up but there was no way it would swing under the tower to deploy

i cut the width by 6" cut equal off both sides of bows and reinstalled inner joining pipes with rivets

still have to install it next time i go out and put tower back up hopefully it will fit now :)

Do you think getting an aftermarket one that is 79-84” will work ?? I saw you said 85” was too big ... so hard to find an aftermarket to fit and stressful :/
