Hi everyone, I want to thank you for any help in advance to this question and your input. I was planning a trip to Bimini in June of 2020, then the Covid hit and cancelled that. I moved my dates to the first of August and now my GF is having issues with getting her passport back in time as it expired in July. I am at the point of having to make a decision to cancel the Bimini trip all together or push it out to the first week of September. Any concerns with crossing in September? I know that we will be on the outside bubble of the ideal times to cross. Any input is appreciated!!

The problem with any trips beyond early to mid July is you start to get into frequent storm potential. You don't need a "named storm" to ruin your plans.... Honestly, I'd just plan on making the trip next year as the weather risks in September would not be something I'd recommend dealing with in our boats (if you have something over 30' then perhaps)

Thank you

You can still have an amazing trip and no need for a passport if you plan instead to go from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami to Key West. Lots of places to go and things to see and places where you can stay overnight (hotels, camp grounds, etc.), plenty of restaurants and marina's.
