I don't want to feel like a noob but the dealer I bought the boat from shipped the Bimini. Just not sure on set up/install or what I'm missing. I have everything in the picture below. I think I just need screws to hold the Bimini in correct? And anyone have a picture how I put on the boat? I assume the rear is the zipper and goes to total rear or tower and then straps to the front? Is there a boot to hold it like the sx when stored? If someone has a few pics that would be awesome! And a part number for the screws and or pin I need? Thanks in advance.

Looks like I need (2) #3's the knob that holds the base in. And is the cover necessary? Or could I just gold back and use some velcro to roll around.

@Scottintexas thank you for picture. So to clarify it zips to the rear of the tower and goes under the fwd bar correct?

That's a pic of my boat up there!

The zipper sections zipper to the rear parts of the tower, then straps to the hooks just in front of your windshield.
You will need the two little bolts that screw the base posts to the side window frame.

Mine has a boot that has straps to attach it to the tower to hold it up. While storing mine I adjust the Bimini poles so the booted top rests on top of my windshield frame, then I put my cover over that. Some people put a noodle on the frame so it and the rubber stopper on the center windshield doesn't rub a hole in the cover, I rest my Bimini up there to prevent this. Also before I started doing it this way I laid the Bimini down backwards across the top of the rear seats, everytime I went and took the cover off, the Bimini would be full of water, that may be from my cover sucking though.

@Wayloncle that's funny, I just did a google image search and grabbed a picture,

Haha! I don't know how google images works but it must have been pulled from the old forum or I may have posted it to FaceBook, that's one of the first pics I took of my boat after I bought it in 2013 on the water, because it still has that mirror arm on it and I hadn't put the boat name on yet.

@Wayloncle thank you so much. I grab the bolts and look at getting the boot. I need to clean the Bimini it's pretty gross on the bottom. But at least we have it now!

To answer your question above that I overlooked, it does go under the front tube of the tower. Mine was pretty mildewy when I got it, I tried cleaning with a brush and fabric cleaner, it didn't remove all the spots but looked better.

@Wayloncle i installed Bimini finally. There is slack on the support bar that is overhead (middle bar) it doesn't tighten up against around the bar is that normal. I pulled the straps tight so wasn't sure if some slack is right even with it tight. Thanks for any help.

I don't remember the middle bar being very loose at all, not loose enough for me to notice it anyway.

I've never really pod attention to the mounts on the middle bar, can those be slid up the posts to make it tighter?

I'll have to check next time I have the boat uncovered. I didn't notice any adjustment. The rear bars only have the one upper button clip I think as well. Maybe the fabric is just old/stretched? I'll take pictures with it set up and see if I messed up something.
