I crafted a Bird•B•Gone mount for the wakeboard tower of my AR210. It easily slides on/off the tow-point anchor-light, and allows the anchor-light to shine through it. Whenever my boat is on the lift, or docked/anchored anywhere, I slide the Bird•B•Gone onto the tow-point, and birds stay off my tower and bimini. When I slide the Bird•B•Gone off, I use a velcro tie to keep all its wires together, and place the contraption under one of the forward seats. After a couple months of use, I haven't had a single bird take a crap from my tower or bimini. Before I fashioned this thing, birds would have a field day sitting on my tower!
Parts:
Bird•B•Gone Bird Spider 360 (8 ft size)
Clear plastic tumbler from Target
Toilet flange from Home Depot that functions as a heavy base (and has slots in it so I can hang the contraption upside down from a hook or cleat when not in use).
Scraps of SeaDek to line the inside of the toilet flange
Velcro strap to keep the wires together when the Spider is not in use.
Stainless steel fasteners to hold everything together.
I also applied pieces of non-stick rubbery shower grip tape to the horizontal sections of the wakeboard tower so I could step up and reach the anchor light when the bimini is open.
