Blacktip Mats

Looks great! I need to get my mats installed.

Took more time to clean the floors than to install the mats. I didn't do all that measuring and marking junk. Just lined em up and stuck em on.

Man, I'm out of the loop....where'd you git those?

Got them off Watercraft Superstore. About $400. Carpet got funky. Floors were too slippery when the sunscreen got sprayed. Had to get some traction.

Yes they look good. I never heard of them.

Thanks, I'll have to check them out. The Hydro-Turf on my rear deck is the only thing showing signs of age on the boat.... Unless I'm on it of course!

Those look great! How do they compare to Seadek or Hydroturf like what we have on the swimdeck?

How are they going to be for giving you the "hotfoot"? Got any feel for that?

I received mine a couple weeks ago from Blacktip. Getting ready to install this weekend. Was only $140 shipped for the kit that covers everything but the carpeted area. Our carpet is still in great condition. Any advice for rempoving the old stuff. I'm not looking forward to that!

thank you its only 50 in Washington right now soo will start removal now and install is easier with it warmer right

Install should be done above 70 degrees I believe.

Grab a corner and start pulling! Done be afraid to use tons of acetone to remove the adhesive. Use lots of new rags once the adhesive starts coming off.

Yes! Do it when it's cold!

I have these mats installed on my boat for two years now. I love them. A lot cheaper than other options. Mine are gray. They don't get too hot in Arkansas summers.

They look great!

Now for that spray sunscreen: It it not allowed on my boat for two reasons: 1) it's slippery and on a rocking boat, that's not good news and 2) all that overspray is just more for me to clean up. Now I keep a bottle of sunscreen on the boat and if someone happens to bring a spray one, I let them use ours instead. Once they hear it's a safety issue because of the over-spray...they're good to go!
