I purchased a used Sugar Sand Tango this weekend in very good condition. Unfortunately it didn't come with a boat cover. On the description, Sugar Sand called it a 16ft boat and the actually specs show it as a 16.5ft boat. When you look up boat covers, most sizes show either a 14ft-16ft length or a 17ft-19ft length. Nothing really in between.

The question is what would be the best size to get for it?

Didn't get any replies so I had to figure it out. I'm relaying it on for the next person that needs this info.

The cover that I purchased was made for boats 14'-16' long and up to 68 inches wide

What brand cover did you get? I have a 98 Tango and am looking at the Carver for 98 or Covermate for 97 in Sunbrella. After looking at many photos the shape of the boat looks the same from 97 to 98, presumably from the same mold. My original Sugar Sand cover is finally dead, my god that was a nice cover! I've thought about taking it apart and remaking it from scratch.
