Looking for input, what's everyone using for boat flag poles and holders? I have a 2020 AR240 and I'm looking at the Big Air 2 1/2" tower mount holder. Any experience with these? Thanks!

big air with the 2.5" is perfect, worth the money. do it!

What he said-

Fits great in our 2014 Yama 212x, if you want a pic, Let me know I’ll snap one in the morning, we primarily use it for our orange “ man in the water” flag, but the thing is stout and would have no problem taking a massive flag, I’ve seen tow hitches that aren’t as sturdy lol.

Here's mine on a 2012. Although this is a little flag, their video on how much wind the holders can handle is pretty impressive.

I have tried a few different brands and all are not to the quality i wanted. I purchased two from Big Air Wake Tower last year and they are ROCK SOLID. I fly a very large American flag at 40Mph and the thing doesnt budge.

This. They’re not cheap, but you’ll spend more buying twice and returning the subpar ones.

Sold out on Amazon as of today 13Jun2020 and on their website $105 shipped. $210 for 2 flag holders ..... yaykes! ?

Screenshot from their website, looks like there are different clamp diameters 2.5” or 3”. Boat in storage at the moment so don’t have access, but anyone know what tower tube diameter is on the 2019 242X-E ? Guessing all 24’ have the same tube diameter?

Or @anmut @Ratket @nydave, which diameter did you order since you bought those? Thx

Interesting. I have two of these. The latest one I bought, they sent me all the interchangeable rubber gaskets to fit any size tower. That’s probably what they’re doing now. Maybe worth a call to confirm.

They tell you how to measure your tube and they tell you witch one to order per your tube size.

I also have a 2020 AR240. I got some stainless rod holders with clamp mounts, $25 each. They are solid as can be. I’m a cheapo, I got two wood flag poles from Walmart, used some eye hook screws, works great. They held up to a quick burst at 50mph. I leave them up all day and going to/from the sand bar, 20 min trip each way going 20-30mph. Best picture I have at the moment. 4265EC58-FB45-4435-A7B2-741C9036A8E6.jpeg

Thank you, I know that but as I said, boat is in storage and I have no access to measure the tower tube, was hoping someone knows off the top of their head so I can order it. Thank you.

I think we have tower diameters in the FAQ...

This may be the most expensive way to put a flag on your boat. It's a fish rod holder and a special flag pole made for rod holders.
