I am having issues with my boat not resting on the trailer properly. I have to sink the trailer deep to get the boat up to the bow roller without applying too much pressure on the winch and when I do the back end of the boat floats high enough to rest the bottom on top of the red circled area.
My thoughts are to remount the bracket on the top side of the trailer frame and that would raise the bunk guides up 4 inches which should keep me from floating on top of them.
Do you see any issues this may cause by doing this?
Any other ideas to keep the stern of the boat from floating to one side or the other during retrieval?
